A fashionable way to fundraise for a leading local charity has been announced by Clarkes of Walsham. The business is hosting a charity Christmas shopping event on Thursday 29th November where customers will get the chance to grab fantastic bargains on many leading clothing ranges. Money raised from the sale of items and a raffle on the evening will go towards the GeeWizz Jasmine Appeal, supporting Jasmine Moxon, a six-year-old from Beck Row who suffers from Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy. Richard Balls, finance director at Clarkes, said: “We are delighted to lend our support to the GeeWizz Jasmine Appeal. We feel it is so important to give back to our local community where possible.” Gina Long MBE, founder of GeeWizz, said: “Fundraising comes in all shapes and sizes and we are so grateful to Clarke’s of Walsham for this wonderful gesture. “This is an ideal chance to snap up some wonderful clothes, with 50% off selected ranges, and Christmas presents while supporting a very special little girl in our community.” The Christmas shopping event, which also includes a hog roast, prosecco and ale, will take place between 6pm and 9pm on Thursday 29th November at Clarkes Country Store in The Street, Walsham-le-Willows.
